EV Cost

Boost your savings

Going electric is an investment. But the savings really add up. Apart from what you save on gas, EVs cost less to maintain. That’s because they have fewer moving parts than cars with combustion engines, which means you won’t be topping up fluid or changing the oil. They also use the motor to slow down, which helps preserve your brake pads. Factor in Federal and Provincial EV rebates, and the leap to electric makes even more sense.[[1142]]

EV Charging

Explore all your options

You can recharge an EV using three standard charging levels. Level 1 chargers plug into a common household outlet – always a good option to have. Level 2 chargers are purchased separately, and with twice as much power, they work best if you can plug in overnight. Level 3 chargers work with most EVs and replenish your battery much faster – think 30 minutes to an hour.

There are over 5,000 public charging stations in Canada, and if you drive a Nissan EV, you can charge fast and free at many Nissan dealers. Continue exploring and check out a map of Canada’s charging network. [[1127]]
