Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) Warning Light
Your vehicle's antilock braking system may require service.
The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) in your vehicle may not be functioning properly. After setting the ignition switch to the ON position, the ABS warning light should illuminate and then turn off to indicate your ABS is operational. If the light illuminates while the engine is running or while driving, schedule an appointment at your local Nissan dealer to have your system checked.
If an ABS malfunction occurs, your brake system still operates but without anti-lock assistance. This means wheel lockup may occur during hard braking or braking in low-traction conditions. Drive with care until your vehicle is serviced.
Find and review your Owner’s Manual or contact your Nissan dealer for more information.
