Getting Started

Follow these simple steps to get started with the Nissan Energy Charge Network.

Logging In to Connected Services

If you’re a new user, you’ll need to tap “Register” and fill out the required information fields. Then, choose a secure password to finish creating your account. Once your account is created, you can simply sign in with your chosen credentials. Need some help? Watch our short video going through the registration process.

Add a Vehicle

Add your vehicle by either manually entering the VIN, or using your device’s camera to scan it. Then, agree to the Terms & Conditions and submit proof of vehicle ownership. Feel free to watch our video going through the process.

Setting Up Enrolment to Nissan Energy

Setting up a payment method is simple. Tap on the “Charging” section, select “Activate”, then “Add Payment Method”. Once you receive an activation notification, you’re all set.

Locating Your Preferred Charger

Start by tapping on the “Map” icon. Then, tap “Charging Stations” to search for locations.

Tap the “route” icon.

Tap on “Send to Vehicle” to send the directions to your Nissan. A confirmation will pop up once the directions have been sent successfully.

The NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network is a network of public charging station providers that help simplify the charging experience for Nissan ARIYA drivers. How do I use the NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network? Do I need an account?

To get started, simply log in to the MyNISSAN app using your NISSAN ID. From the Home screen, select “Charging”. Next, select “Start Activation” and add a Payment method that will be used to pay for charging sessions. Here, you must also accept the Nissan Store Terms and Conditions. Finally, you can activate the NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network by tapping the “Activate” button. After that, you’re all set! [[1758]][[1759]][[1307]]

Where can I find charging station details for my Nissan ARIYA?

You can find charging station details when searching from the map screen on the MyNISSAN app. You can also apply filters to search by connector type, in-network charging stations and charging station providers. [[1758]][[1759]][[1307]][[1760]]

Selecting a charging station from the map will show details like:

In-network status, meaning you can pay & initiate charging from the MyNISSAN app
Number of connectors & type of connector plugs
Current availability status for connector plugs (if available)
Charging speed for each connector
Station hours of operation (hours may vary depending on charging partner)
Cost to charge

I’m having issues using an in network public charger. Now what?

Try unplugging and plugging in your Nissan ARIYA. Then, restart the charging process. Make sure you are following the instructions on the charging equipment for the correct order of plugging in and initiating charging with the “start charge” app command. You can also try using a different charging connector or station. [[1759]][[1307]]

If the issue persists, call the charge point operator directly at the number provided on the charging equipment.

Where can I find my charge session details and receipt?

Your official receipts will be sent to your registered email. A brief overview of your session can also be found in the charge history section of the MyNISSAN app. [[1758]][[1759]][[1307]][[1760]]

I finished my charge, but I don’t see a receipt. What should I do?

It may take longer than anticipated to receive your receipt. Should you have questions about receipts, please contact our customer service call centre at 1-855-426-6628.

How much will it cost to charge my vehicle?

Sessions can be billed per session, per hour, per charging hour or a combination of these methods. The total cost of a session may vary based on the vehicle’s acceptance rate (the speed that energy gets transferred to the vehicle), the output of the station and the time spent charging. [[1760]]

I’m not seeing the desired speed at the charger. What do I do?

Energy can vary from CPO (Charge Point Operator) to CPO. If you’re not seeing the rated speed, it’s best to contact the CPO. In the winter, it’s good practice to utilize the battery preconditioning function. [[1760]]
