Add your vehicle by either manually entering the VIN, or using your device’s camera to scan it. Then, agree to the Terms & Conditions and submit proof of vehicle ownership. Feel free to watch our video going through the process.

Setting up a payment method is simple. Tap on the “Charging” section, select “Activate”, then “Add Payment Method”. Once you receive an activation notification, you’re all set.

Charge on the go with the NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network. Using the MyNISSAN App, you can access over 25,000 in-network public chargers across Canada — including compatible Tesla Superchargers. By adding your card information to your Nissan Wallet, you can also set up automatic payments to make charging even easier. The NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network is a network of public charging station providers that help simplify the charging experience for Nissan EV Drivers. Drivers can easily locate in-network charging stations, start a charging session and make payments all through the MyNISSAN app. [[1758]][[1759]][[1307]]

The NECN will give you access to thousands of public chargers. Our popular charging providers include:  FLO, Circuit Electrique, Tesla, ChargePoint, BC Hydro, SWITCH, IVY, Circle-K / Couche-Tard, EV Gateway, ZEF Energy, Hypercharge, Evoke, ViaLynk, Stay-N Charge. [[1758]][[1759]][[1307]]

To get started, simply log in to the MyNISSAN app using your NISSAN ID. From the Home screen, select “Charging”. Next, select “Start Activation” and add a Payment method that will be used to pay for charging sessions. Here, you must also accept the Nissan Store Terms and Conditions. Finally, you can activate the NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network by tapping the “Activate” button. After that, you’re all set! [[1758]][[1759]][[1307]]

You can find charging station details when searching from the map screen on the MyNISSAN app. You can also apply filters to search by connector type, in-network charging stations and charging station providers. [[1758]][[1759]][[1307]][[1760]]

Selecting a charging station from the map will show details like:

• In-network status, meaning you can pay & initiate charging from the MyNISSAN app
• Number of connectors & type of connector plugs
• Current availability status for connector plugs (if available)
• Charging speed for each connector
• Station hours of operation (hours may vary depending on charging partner)
• Cost to charge
  

Try unplugging and plugging in your Nissan EV. Then, restart the charging process. Make sure you are following the instructions on the charging equipment for the correct order of plugging in and initiating charging with the “start charge” app command. ​You can also try using a different charging connector or station. Sessions can be billed per session, per Kilowatt hour, per charging hour or a combination of these methods. The total cost of a session may vary based on the vehicle’s acceptance rate (the speed that energy gets transferred to the vehicle), the output of the station and the time spent charging.[[1760]]

Energy can vary from CPO (Charge Point Operator) to CPO. If you’re not seeing the rated speed, it’s best to contact the CPO. In the winter, it’s good practice to utilize the battery preconditioning function. [[1760]]

Tesla Superchargers utilize the North American Charging Standard (NACS), while the Nissan ARIYA in market today is equipped with the Combined Charging System (CCS) Standard. You must utilize a Nissan-Compliant NACS Adapter Kit specially designed for a Nissan ARIYA to connect to a NACS charging infrastructure. The Nissan-compliant NACS Adapter Kit contains two pieces critical to charging your Nissan ARIYA on NACS equipment: a Plug Adapter and a NACS adapter. 

The Plug Adapter fills a cavity in the CCS port, it is a one-time installation and remains in place for all future charging events. It allows the NACS adapter to function properly. It will not impact charging on other infrastructure. The NACS Adapter is used to connect NACS charging equipment to your ARIYA. [[2331]] [[2332]]

The all-new 2026 Nissan LEAF does not require a NACS Adapter Kit to charge on Tesla Superchargers.

Nissan ARIYA drivers with a Nissan-Compliant NACS Adapter Kit have access to a wide network of compatible Tesla Supercharger locations through the NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network. To locate a compatible Tesla Supercharger you can search on the map screen in the MyNISSAN App.  The “Provider” filter will allow you to select Tesla Supercharger specifically. Once selected, it will automatically filter to compatible stations. ARIYA drivers must activate the NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network to pay for their Supercharging sessions right through the MyNISSAN App.  

All AC “Level 2” Tesla Destination chargers, Wall Connectors and Mobile Connectors are incompatible with Nissan ARIYA at this time. [[2331]][[2332]][[2339]]
