Setup instructions

Access apps and services like Google Assistant, Google Maps, and more on Google Play directly in your car—you just need to sign into your NissanConnect and Google Accounts. Make sure you can access both of these accounts for Google built-in setup.

Don't have a Google account or don't want to log in with it? While some apps can be used offline or when signed out, certain features may be limited.

Safety Reminder: Ensure your vehicle is in park before proceeding with setup.

Results

Step 1: Log into NissanConnect

Follow these steps to log in:

Start your car.
Select your preferred language, accept the terms and conditions, and follow the steps to create a user profile.
Log in to NissanConnect® in the vehicle on the touchscreen display using your NissanConnect® credentials. These are the same credentials used to log in to the MyNISSAN Canada app.
Tap the “Login” button when complete. Do NOT press the “Next” button or your information will be deleted, and you’ll need to complete this step again.
When the login is successful, you’ll see a confirmation message appear on the screen, and a green checkmark will appear next to “Customize your profile” screen.
Note: Remote functions of the MyNISSAN Canada app will not work unless this step is completed.
Next you can log in to your Google Account to receive personalized Google Maps and Google Assistant recommendations.

Step 2: Set up Google Account

Although creating a Google account is optional, it provides unrestricted access to certain features and additional personalization options.
Select “Set up Google Assistant and apps” from the touchscreen display.
Complete your Google account sign in then tap “Next”.
Follow the on-screen prompts to enable Google Assistant. Review and select your privacy data settings to continue with Google Assistant.
Customize your experience with available apps from Google Play.

Note: Incomplete setup will prompt notifications. Tap "Finish setting up your profile" in the notification to continue.
