Globally, Armada is known as the Nissan Patrol. Debuting in 1951, Patrol was the first vehicle to cross the Simpson Desert in Australia. It’s durable, reliable, and with impressive capability on varied terrains, Patrol is extremely popular across the Middle East, where it has won multiple sand dune challenges.

In 2003, we introduced a similar model in Canada: the Nissan Armada. Since then, Armada has gone on to share the same platform as the Nissan Patrol, making both vehicles virtually identical — and shaped by the same legendary heritage.
